Privacy Policy for the Gente Venture (the "Venture")
- The Venture respects the privacy of users and visitors to of any website, platform, dashboard, report, tool, application, or related service of the Venture, whether accessed online or otherwise, including any free, trial, beta, or paid features (the "Users") and the information set out below is intended to help Users understand the Venture's privacy protection policy.
- The privacy policy set forth below will clarify the sources through which the Venture collects information about Users on the website, the purposes for which the Venture collects the information, what information is collected about Users, what use the Venture may make of the information, and how the Venture handles and stores the information.
- In this privacy policy, the term "Information" means data relating to an identified person or a person who can be identified, by reasonable effort, including by means of an identifier, such as a name, identification number, and additional data in accordance with the Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981 (the "Law").It is clarified that the information the User has provided or will provide to the Venture, whether orally or in writing, depends on the User's consent and willingness, and that such consent does not arise from any legal obligation. However, without receiving such information, the Venture will not be able to provide services to the User. The information will be stored in the Venture's databases for the purposes set forth in this privacy policy. For the purpose of implementing the aforesaid purposes, the Venture will transfer information about Users to third parties as detailed in this privacy policy.

- Browsing the Venture's website and the various landing pages on different platforms: technical information and digital identifiers (as detailed below in the Cookies section), various contact details left by the User, including full name, telephone number and email address, and any additional information the User provides to the Venture.
- Use of services, including through the Venture's website: full name, contact details, information regarding the services used by the User, and any additional information the User provides to the Venture.
- Purposes and Manner of Use of Information
The Venture may collect information about the User and make use of it for the following purposes, all or part thereof:
- To provide services and improve their quality;
- To connect Users within the service and increase the scope of shared social activity;
- To contact the User;
- For the operation, management and maintenance of the website;
- To send the User important information regarding changes to the terms of engagement or service, changes to the privacy policy, and other administrative information;
- For statistical purposes, research, analysis, and conducting satisfaction surveys;
- So that we may tailor and offer the User a variety of products and services, including on a personalized basis;
- Direct mailing, as this term is defined in the Law, including sending newsletters and promotional materials containing information about products and services, benefits, promotions, discounts and marketing information, whether such mailing is carried out by the Venture or through third parties;
- In order to display information and advertisements that may be suitable for you;
- For the purpose of identifying the User when contacting us;
- For the purpose of improving, correcting, consolidating, and enhancing the information about the User in our possession and relating to the User (whether such information was provided by the User or received from a third party);
- For the purposes of managing the Venture's infrastructure and business activity and acting in accordance with internal policies and procedures, including those related to audits, bookkeeping (accounts), financing and account management, billing and collections, and information management systems;
- For the purpose of clarifying and resolving complaints, conducting internal audits, and handling requests for access to or correction of information;
- To comply with legal requirements and regulatory obligations, including in connection with legal proceedings, orders, requests from authorities, and the like;
- For the purpose of establishing and defending legal rights; in order to protect the Venture's activities and rights, enforce the terms of this order, preserve the security and property of the Venture and/or companies affiliated with the Venture, of the User and of third parties; and to enable the Venture to assert its rights to remedies or mitigate its damages.
- Transfer of Information to Third Parties
- The Venture may transfer information about Users to third parties as detailed below.
- The transfer of information to third parties will include only relevant information that does not exceed the purposes for which the information is transferred and will be carried out proportionately for a defined, explicit and legitimate purpose.
- The Venture may transfer the information or any part thereof to third parties upon the occurrence of one or more of the following cases:
- Third parties that provide the Venture with various services, including support services for security systems and information technology (IT) systems, data storage services, survey and research services, lawyers or other external professional advisors, as well as additional third parties that provide the Venture with services in connection with its activities and with the provision of services to Users who are the Venture's users, including storage, delivery companies, and the like.
- If the Venture receives a judicial order instructing it to provide the User's details or information about the User pursuant to such judicial order and in accordance with the provisions of any law.
- In any dispute, claim, demand, lawsuit, or any legal proceedings between the User or anyone on the User's behalf and the Venture or anyone on its behalf. In the event of any transfer and/or sale and/or assignment and/or acquisition of the Venture and/or its assets and/or any part thereof, whether for consideration or not, including but not limited to the merger of the Venture and/or its activities with third parties, and without derogating from the generality of the foregoing, in cases of a full or partial change of control in the Venture.
- In any case where the Venture believes that disclosure of the information is required in order to prevent harm to the Venture, the User, or any third party.
- The Venture may transfer the information to third parties as stated above in other countries or jurisdictions (including in the cloud). The information may be transferred to countries in which the level of protection of the right to privacy differs from the level of protection granted to the right to privacy under Israeli law. Providing information to the Venture constitutes consent to the collection, retention, storage (including in the cloud), and transfer of the information in accordance with this privacy protection policy.
- The Venture may make available to the User tools for sharing and linking content from the website through social networks (for example, the Venture's Facebook and Instagram pages) and various online services ("External Applications"). Use of External Applications is not subject to this policy, but rather to the policy practiced by the External Applications. The External Applications may also include content published by the User on the Venture's page and/or content provided by the User to the Venture. The User's attention is drawn to the fact that publication of personal information that may identify the User or others shall be the sole responsibility of the User, and the Venture shall bear no responsibility in connection with any use made by the External Applications.
- The Venture takes technical and physical measures regarding privacy and information security in accordance with accepted standards. As is known, the storage and transmission of information by electronic means, including via the Internet, can never be completely secure, and whenever the User provides information to the Venture, particularly via the Internet, the User does so with full consent and subject to the risks involved in transmitting information in this manner. In any event, if the User has reason to believe that the transfer of information to the Venture is no longer secure (for example, if the User feels that the transfer of information to the Venture may have been compromised), please notify the Venture using the contact details in Section 16 below.
- The Venture shall bear no liability and is exempt from any responsibility in connection with any damage, loss, or expense, of any kind and type, whether direct or indirect and/or incidental and/or consequential, caused and/or to be caused to the User and/or any third party, in connection with the transfer of information to the Venture, the collection, retention (including in the cloud), processing and transfer of information to third parties, as well as in connection with the User's use of the External Applications.
- The Venture will retain information about the User for the period required to ensure the purposes detailed in this privacy policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
- If the User provides the Venture with information regarding other persons, including family members and additional third parties, the User may do so only after: (a) the User has informed such third parties of the contents of this privacy policy; and (b) the User has obtained the consent of such third parties as aforesaid to the collection, use, and transfer of information about such third party in accordance with this policy and the provisions of law.

- The Venture may use automatic information collection tools, including cookies, pixels, SDKs, beacons, tags, and similar technologies that are sent to the device from which the User browses and automatically store various information files on it (collectively, the "Cookies").
- The Cookies contain and collect various information, such as the pages visited by the User, the amount of time the User spent on the website, information viewed by the User on the website, where the User came from to the website, the User's IP address (that is, the User's computer address on the Internet), including the approximate geographic location derived from it, the number of entries to the website, characteristics of the User's device or computer, including screen resolution, operating system type and version, Internet browser type, version and language preference, domain names, and more. The Venture or third parties operating the Cookies may from time to time access the information accumulated in the Cookies, and such information may be stored on the servers of the Venture and/or third parties.
- The Venture uses Cookies for the following purposes, all or part thereof: (1) ongoing operation of the website; (2) collecting data regarding use of the website; (3) improving the browsing experience; (4) statistical, research, marketing and commercial purposes; (5) information security; (6) adapting content and marketing content that may be of interest to the User, including when the User browses other websites.
- Cookies are text files that the User's browser or application creates upon instruction from the Venture's computers. Some Cookies expire when the browser or relevant application is closed, while others are stored on the memory of the User's device or computer or are sent to the Venture for the purpose of providing the services, as detailed above.
- The Venture takes reasonable precautions to ensure that the Venture's computers or those acting on its behalf can read and understand the information stored therein. However, it is clarified that where Cookies are created or operated by third parties, the use and information collected through such Cookies are subject to the privacy policies of those third parties. The Venture has no control over the data stored in them, access to the information, or its cross-referencing with additional information, and such uses are subject to the privacy policies of those third parties. The Venture has no control over the policy documents of those third parties or the manner in which they implement them, including in cases of requests to opt out of the use of Cookies.
- A User who does not wish Cookies to be collected on their device may prevent this by changing the settings in the device's browser. For this purpose, the browser's help file may be consulted. However, it is important to remember that disabling Cookies may result in some services on the website not being available or their quality being impaired, and that deletion of existing Cookies does not affect information that has already been stored in Cookies by the Venture and by third parties. In addition, notwithstanding the foregoing, Cookies that are essential and necessary for the operation and management of the website cannot be disabled.
- The Venture may, at its sole discretion, amend the privacy policy from time to time without the need to provide notice or warning thereof. The updated privacy policy shall apply from the date it is presented on the website. It is the User's responsibility to keep updated regarding any changes that may occur from time to time in the privacy policy.
- The User's continued use of the website after an update to the privacy policy shall constitute the User's consent to the updated privacy policy, including the changes.
- The User may exercise their rights under law in connection with the information stored about them (for example, review of the information and its correction where the information is incorrect, incomplete, unclear, or outdated) by contacting the Venture as detailed in this privacy policy, all subject to the limitations under any law and the Venture's procedures.
- The User may not assign their rights and/or obligations under the privacy policy to another. The Venture and anyone acting on its behalf may assign its rights and/or obligations to another.
- The provisions of the privacy policy are in addition to any agreement, consent, and document existing or to exist between the User and the Venture. The provisions of the privacy policy are intended to add to, and not derogate from, the Venture's rights under any other agreement or consent between the User and the Venture.
- Nothing in the privacy policy shall derogate from any right granted to the Venture and/or anyone acting on its behalf under any law.
